Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk has said that the incumbent President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is ready to facilitate the release of people detained during rallies in Kyiv, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The president of Ukraine, without interfering with the work of judges, will settle the issue so that the people who are currently in custody are freed," Kravchuk said at an all-national roundtable meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday
According to him, this does not mean that investigations against these people will be stopped.
