By 2020, Ukraine may increase the production of agricultural products by 1.3 times, deputy director of the Institute of Agrarian Economy Mykola Puhachov stated, ForUm correspondent reports.
"By 2020, Ukraine has chances to increase its agricultural production by 1.3 times compared with 2012. So the tasks provided by the strategy of agricultural development will be fulfilled," he said
However, Puhachov noted that the development of small economic forms is a priority direction of the agrarian and industrial complex.
He explained that small farms will help increase the income of rural residents, and these forms are interested in preservation of land and environment.
