The majority of MPs from the Party of Regions faction is not ready to vote for the bill №2342 on amendments to some legislative acts concerning the prevention and combating discrimination in Ukraine, the faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
He explained that the Ukrainian legislation already contains anti-discrimination rules and there is no need to duplicate them in a separate bill.
Meanwhile Yefremov stressed that voting for this bill would bring Ukraine closer to the EU. "The adoption of the anti-discriminatory law would help us in Vilnius," he said.
