Ukrainian banks incomes growing

As of August 1, the net profit of the banking sector amounted to nearly 2 billion UAH, according to the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the National Bank, profitability is reasoned by the stable growth of banking incomes, which for seven months of 2013 reached nearly 93 billion UAH.

In July, the revenue peaked this year - more than 14 billion UAH. Increase in revenue and profit respectively was mainly due to the increase in interest income of banks.
