President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has urged MPs to solve political arguments outside the Parliament and resume the work of the Verkhovna Rada.

"I have repeatedly expressed my view that any contradictions should be discussed outside the session hall. That is, the Parliament should work, and the political negotiation process should be held outside the hall," Yanukovych told today a press conference in Kaniv, Cherkasy region.

According to Yanukovych, everyone should understand that the state is in a difficult situation, so Parliament should focus on passing laws, which would minimize the impact of the world crisis and promote economic development.

"In the end, we are taking steps to protect our people from the crisis. I mean the solution of social problems, in particular. We’re already running late with some laws, so I urge the Parliament: We have already waste a lot of time. The country will lose much without working Parliament," he said.
"If we say that we try to integrate into Europe, then please tell me: in which European country does Parliament work in such a way? Not in a single," he said.

He urged the MPs to return to work and take the necessary decisions for the country.
