The committee on Parliament’s Rules is ready to consider the bill on amendments to the Rules right now, but that requires the working Parliament, MP, member of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada committee on Rules, parliamentary ethics and operation of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Makeyenko told reporters in Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I am ready to hold a meeting of the committee at any second. We even have agreed to hold committee hearings on the changes to the Rules. Here (on the sidelines of the Parliament - Ed.) I am waiting for the changes from the leaders of all factions to begin committee hearings and consider all proposals, whatever they may be. However as you know, there are no proposals at the moment," he said.
Makeyenko also noted that consideration of the changes to the Rules should be public, in presence of journalists.
"We need to open the session for one minute at least. The anthem is performed, speaker comes out and announces: "The session is open", and we go to finalize the document," the MP said.
