There are no Ukrainian citizens among killed and injured due to the shooting in Connecticut elementary school, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
"According to the preliminary information, there are no Ukrainian citizens among killed and injured people due to the shooting. Embassy of Ukraine to the United States and the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York continue to monitor the information regarding the incident," the Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York (USA), 27 people were killed, including 20 children, as a result of the shooting at the Connecticut elementary school on December 14 at 9.30 am. A gunman was shot by the state police. Motives of the crime are being investigated.
