Ukraine has not yet agreed with the Russian Federation on the amount of gas purchase in 2013, deputy minister of energy and coal industry Volodymyr Makukha told reporters.
"We are holding negotiations at all levels including the level of the President, Prime Minister and the Ministry, but the issue is still under discussion. Our position is that as of today, the Ukrainian energy sector does need to buy 52 billion cubic meters of gas, especially at these prices," he stressed.
