In October, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine will check the activities of private security agencies of the country in connection with the incident in the Karavan shopping mall, where three guards were killed, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said.

Answering the question of whether prosecutors plan to check security structures in relation to the incident, the head of the Office said: "We plan to instruct the regional prosecutor's offices for them to give a legal assessment - where there are such violations".

"In October, the prosecutor's office will conduct such inspections in all regions of Ukraine," Pshonka told a press conference after the meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS countries, held in Kyiv on Tuesday.
