President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the Prosecutor General's Office, the Security Service, and the Interior Ministry to take all measures necessary to find the persons responsible for a series of blasts in Dnipropetrovsk and hold them responsible in accordance with the law, presidential press office reports.

The President also instructed creating a coordinating staff, headed by the Prosecutor General, to direct the investigation at the site.

In addition, the President asked Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Healthcare Raisa Bohatyryova, and Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Head Oleksandr Vilkul to take comprehensive measures to provide medical aid to the victims, and ensure public order and safety in Dnipropetrovsk.

The Security Service and the Ministry for Emergencies must also take urgent and coordinated steps to prevent any crime aimed at destabilizing the situation in Dnipropetrovsk.
