In addition, for UEFA EURO 2012, 10 information-tourist centers will be set up in the capital that will be switched on to a similar European system through Internet.
UEFA EURO 2012 guests will be accommodated by 150 capital's hotels, Hrytsyk noted. At the same time, he assured that all the tasks set by UEFA to Kyiv as regards accommodation of participants and guests of the championship will be fulfilled. "This task and accommodation of UEFA target groups (teams, sponsors and UEFA partners, referees, etc., in total 7,300 rooms). This also refers to accommodation of football fans to the amount of 200-250 persons," Hrytsyk said. For accommodation of fans, not only hotels will be involved, but also ships, hostels and camps.
For today, deficit of rooms for accommodation of the UEFA team in Kyiv makes up 805 rooms. However, by the beginning of the championship, it is planned to construct nine hotels for 1,683 rooms, which will solve all the problems. "All the guarantees on UEFA team accommodation, given to UEFA President Michel Platini by Kyiv, will be fulfilled," Hrytsyk underscored.
