Today First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov met with members of the Parliamentary Trade Delegation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Cabinet's press office reports.
The sides discussed issues on cooperation in economic and energy spheres.
“We are grateful to the British partners for support of Ukraine in accession to the WTO,” Oleksander Turchynov noted.
Discussing energy cooperation, the participants of the meeting emphasized perspectiveness of biofuel use.
In its turn, the British delegation noted a positive advance in all spheres of the Ukrainian economy, in particular, in the investment. “We are confident that Ukraine is heading toward the European way,” head of the “Policy Partnership” consulting company Lord Gillford stated.
The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine told members of the Parliamentary Trade Delegation about the Government’s aspirations to hold fair and transparent privatization auctions for improving the investment climate in Ukraine and provide development of strategy spheres of economy.
