Leader of “Our Ukraine"-"People’s Self-Defense” bloc Yury Lutsenko will not aspire to PM position after early parliamentary elections and will not be a candidate for presidential elections 2009. He said that in an interview on “5 channel” on Sunday, the ForUm’s correspondent informed.
“I personally do not aspire to PM position,” he said, adding that he will obtain PM position by all means but not this year.
According to him, today there are many people who can obtain PM position more systematic and professionally. He admitted that he has good command of industry, law enforcement and regional policy but not of finance-credit and energy policy. “I think in five years I will study it but now I am not ready even to declare about my claims,” he noted.
Speaking about his candidature for the President position, he assured that he will not be a candidate for he President.
According to him, the Head of the State position is very responsible. “It is a person who must know everything in the country. I will not be ready in 2009 to be a candidate for the President position,” he said.
