There was not any immediate contagion of people with the bird flu in Crimea, the Chief Veterinary Inspector of Ukraine Serhiy Berezhnov told in the air of Inter TV Channel.
“The situation is under control… For now we have not registered people who caught the bird flu,” added the Veterinary Inspector.
The Director General of the International Epidemiological Bureau is in Crimea. He marked out the great preventing work done by Ukrainian government.
Agrarian Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Baranivsky said that nine Crimean villages were captured by the bird flu. The mobile lab is working now for immediate check-up of infected or dead birds.
The government paid $160,000 as the damage for excepted birds; the total damage is more than $300 million.
