The Bulgarian Defence Ministry press service circulated a statement about high-level consultations in Vilnius, Lithuania. Bulgarian Defence Minister Vesselin Bliznakov and his Ukrainian counterpart, Anatoly Gritsenko took part in the consultations.
As the statement says, Minister Bliznakov confirmed Bulgarian support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and reaffirmed Bulgaria's readiness to assist Ukraine in reforming its armed forces.
The Ministers decided to sign a new bilateral agreement on cooperation in accordance with the changing situation in Ukraine, the cabinet's press ofice informed.
