After the signing of the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU, protocols of Ukrainian laboratories will be immediately recognized in the EU countries, chairman of the national agency on accreditation of Ukraine Volodymyr Ruschak told journalists, ForUm's correspondent reports.
"We have about 300 accredited labs of various areas of industries, including food industry, aerospace industry, etc. The labs have been approved by the National agency and work by the accreditation certificate. After the signing of the Association agreement, all labs accredited by the national agency and their test protocols and certificates will be immediately recognized in the EU countries, meaning no additional inspections will be required ," he said.
In his opinion, after the signing of the agreement between Ukraine and the EU, shady production will cease to exist.
"With the Association agreement the shady sector of production will lose its competitiveness, as only legal producers will be allowed on the market," he said and specified that shady dealers will no longer be able to obtain accreditation certificates.
