The Prosecutor General’s Office of Egypt closed the criminal case against the citizen of Ukraine due to the lack of evidence, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine told ForUm correspondent.
In particular, the Foreign Ministry stressed that according to information of the Ukrainian Embassy in Egypt, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Egypt decided to close the case against the Ukrainian citizen.
A spokesman of the press service added that the Ministry is now addressing the issue how to return home the Ukrainian citizen. "Now the technical issues are being resolved, including the question of return of the Ukrainian citizen to his homeland," the Foreign Ministry summed up.
