Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Turkey have strong potential for the development and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of resorts and tourism, deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Heorhiy Psarev said during the meeting with the culture and tourism minister of Turkey Ertugrul Gunay within III International Black Sea Economic Forum, on October 5.
"Turkey is strategic partner of Ukraine, including Crimea, in field of tourism, culture and investment. We look forward to strengthening our bilateral cooperation in the future," vice Prime Minister of Crimea said.
In turn, culture and tourism minister of Turkey Ertugrul Gunay offered to intensify bilateral tourism and expand bilateral cultural relations, to organize joint marketing campaign of the Crimea and Turkey resorts, as well as to conduct joint tourism exhibitions and cultural events. At the same time, Turkey offered to help train the Crimean professionals working in the field of resorts and tourism.
In addition, the parties discussed the mechanism of Black Sea region resorts promotion to the international tourist market under a single brand and also raised current cultural heritage issues.
