The Party of Regions has filed documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) for participation in the parliamentary elections, the head of the campaign headquarters of the Party of Regions Andriy Klyuyev, the secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense (CNSD) of Ukraine, said at a briefing near the CEC, the press service of the Party reports.
"Today we are the first to come to file documents for registration of MP candidates from the Party of Regions. We have done a spider work before adopting a list of our candidates," Klyuyev said.
According to him, the Party has chosen only experienced people who could implement the program of the President. The head of the campaign headquarters of the Party of Regions stressed that within a year the party studied the situation and the opinion of citizens in every region, so the list of candidates in majority constituencies includes people supported by the nation in one or another region.
"The list includes specialists in the field of economy, in the defence industry complex, agriculture and social security sector. We have people who will be ready to implement the programs of the Party and the President. I believe that we must win this election campaign, because we must finish the reforms started by the President of Ukraine," Klyuyev said.
