The Council for Tourism and Resorts, in conjunction with the Association of Ukrainian Cooks, begin to determine the 100 best restaurants for the UEFA 2012 European Football Championship.
The list will include those establishments that could be recommended both to guests of the host cities and their residents. The rating is formed with the participation of more than 40 distinguished experts from all fields of activity. Among them there will be leading tour operators and hoteliers, known restaurateurs from other cities, the best chefs, and representatives of professional media. This was reported during a press conference at the Ukraine 2012 press center by the organizers of the rating.
A comprehensive assessment will take into account all the restaurant components: interior, cuisine, services, price/quality ratio, the presence of loyalty programs for tourists. The organizers plan to choose 40 restaurants in Kyiv, and 20 in Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv each. The list to determine the best ones will b e created openly, based on the proposals of experts, restaurants and ordinary consumers. The expanded list is to include 300 establishments, of which 100 best restaurants will be selected at the beginning of December for EURO 2012, according to UKRINFORM.
As reported by the ranking organizers, the best restaurants will receive special information boards. This list will be included into the free cards, which will be presented to the guests of EURO 2012, proponents of the event say.
