President Viktor Yushchenko and the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski took part in a ceremony of opening the exhibition “Ukraine to the World” at National Museum of Warsaw. President's press office reports. 

In his speech President Yushchenko noted that the exhibition emphasizes cultural closeness of Ukrainians and Poles. “We have many different [common] pages of our history but nowadays on both political and human-relations level we have implemented the policy, which made two brother-nations out of two neighbor-nations,” Viktor Yushchenko said. He also suggested holding similar exhibition in Ukraine.

After the opening ceremony the Presidents took a tour of the exhibition where they were shown unique displays of Trypillya civilization, works of ancient Greeks, jewelry of Cimmerians, Scythians, Sarmats and other tribes, which have been inhabiting the territory of modern Ukraine.
