The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych considers that in case the president does not cancel his decree on parliament dissolution, it can lead not only to early parliamentary elections but also to presidential elections. He told today addressing the coalition supporters near the VRU.
According to Yanukovych, “the President should think about it.”
At the same time, Yanukovych expressed confidence that the only way of this situation should be negotiations.
Commenting on Yushchenko’s decree, Yanukovych said: “it is not only wrong step but also forwarded against the state and people.”
He promised that coalition would take all possible measures to cancel this decree. Otherwise Ukraine rolls to illegality.”
“Having signed the decree, the president made a great mistake, following the opposition,” Yanukovych said.
According to Yanukovych, we have today an opportunity to work honestly… but we are deprived of such possibility by one signature. “There are no grounds for this decree,” he said. But Yanukovych assured that “we will create all conditions for country to develop.”
