Today the Vitrenko’s Bloc “People’s Opposition” has submitted a question “On Proclamation of Donetsk region ‘Territory without NATO’” for consideration at the 2nd Session of the Donetsk Regional Council.
The Council by majority has voted down a proposal to put the question on today agenda. Seventeen people’s deputies voted for the proposal and ninety ones – against it.
As a result of it, Vitrenko’s supporters have blocked the tribune screaming “Shame on Regions!” “NATO – Killer!” “Russia-Ukraine-Belarus!”.
The work of the session is under the threat of breakdown.
A dozen of Vitrenko’s supporters are holding a meeting in front of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
