Within the framework of the 60th jubilee session of the UN General Assembly in New York acting Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk met with US Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs Paula Dobriansky, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service told Ukrinform.
Borys Tarasyuk briefed Ms Dobriansky about the internal political situation in Ukraine, having noted that Ukraine's foreign political priorities, that is, membership in the European and Euro-Atlantic institutions, integration with the world economy and active regional politics remain unchanged.
The sides discussed a wide range of matters of bilateral relations, particularly, ways of the USA's further assistance in implementing reforms in Ukraine. Paula Dobriansky stated US readiness to comprehensively assist Ukraine in its meeting European norms and standards.
