"Nowadays we continue radiological monitoring of all radioactive polluted areas in order to have objective information. If the results of the monitoring prove some areas do not fit with criteria concerning radioactive pollution, Ministry on Emergency Control will consider the abolition of the status of radioactive polluted zones for those areas," stated David Zhvania, the Minister on Emergency Control of Ukraine.

He also mentioned that such measures will help to improve economic situations of the areas, because foreign investors fear like death these areas.

According to Zhvania, it will be better for such areas and regions to develop and create new working places instead of living by budget indemnity and having no prospects at all.

According to Zhvania's words, all victims of Chernobyl will continue using grants as compensations for the damages caused by tragedy. But the revision of legality of grants will be conducted because of the illegal usage of grants became more frequent.
