The State Administrative Department of Ukraine agreed upon the restitution of "Glitsiniya" pension sold to Russia. The pension is situated in Crimea. The head of the State Administrative Department of Ukraine, Igor Tarasuk reported about it.

According to his words, the State Administrative Department of Ukraine agreed with "Foreign Commerce Bank" Russian open joint-stock company to terminate the sale agreement of the pension belonged to the International Children's Center "Artek."

"Russian side proposed us to terminate the agreement under the condition to pay back money they paid; it makes 30% out of 'Glitsiniya' cost. We will pay it back. They in turns will give back the first and the second cottages situated there," stated Tarasuk.

In the last century, the cottages were favorite pleasure resorts of Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov, and Mikhail Gorbachev. Nowadays the mass media call the pension to be the unofficial residence of the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

May 20, 2005 the Crimean Office of Public Prosecutor appealed to the Kiev Economic Court in order to admit illegal the sale of the pension.
