Ukraine is firmly committed to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union on November 29 in Vilnius, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak said at a meeting with a delegation of the European Parliament's political group "European Conservatives and Reformists" on Tuesday, the Parliament’s press service informs.

"The early conclusion of the Agreement is in line with our common interests both in terms of the democratic future of Ukraine and in the wider European context," Rybak said, Ukrinform reported.

However, he noted that Ukraine has made significant progress on all criteria of signing the Agreement referred to in Conclusions of the European Council on Ukraine of December 10, 2012. In particular, now pending in parliamentary committees are the bills to reform the electoral law and the prosecution to be adopted before the Vilnius summit.
