Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has invited his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev to switch to the practical consideration of the provisions of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, which are of concern to the Russian side, he said during a meeting with Medvedev in Astana, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

"I propose moving from general reasoning – what hinders and what doesn’t to the practical consideration of the provisions that cause conflicting assessments or concern for our partners. I want the sides to find a common language and respond to real, rather than hypothetical threats," he stressed.

During the talks the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, in particular, expressed concern about the decline in trade between the two countries.
