The draft of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and its member countries meets the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine and the laws of Ukraine, the press service of the Justice Ministry reported.
"The principle of respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of states is one of the fundamental principles of international law embodied in the provisions of the Agreement’s draft, particularly in the second part of article 7, under which Ukraine, the EU and its member countries reaffirm their commitment to the principles of respect for independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders and extend these principles in bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as in the preamble, second and fourth articles of the Agreement," the report said.
