On June 22-23, the ninth international the Country of Dreams ethno festival will be held at Spivoche Pole recreational area in Kyiv.
This year, the program of the Country of Dreams includes: Crimean folk scene, an exclusive ethnic program from the TNMK Ukrainian hip-hop group, the first solo performances of Ilariya, Roman Hrynkiv, Oleksiy Kabanov, Vasyl Zhadan with the TopOrkestra gypsy punk panic band, ForUm learned from the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
“Two days of the festival will make true the dreams of fans of diverse ethnic and “live” culture. All the visitors will merge into authenticity and naturalness, live music, live history and live culture,” the fest organizers assure.
In addition, this year's the Country of Dreams festival was included into the program of the host city of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, so a fan zone with the online football matches broadcasting from Gdansk and Donetsk will be organized at the festival.
During the festival there will be also a variety of literary and theatrical performances, traditional Cossack fun. At the Ethno-Fashion ground, the collection of Ukrainian ethnic and antique clothing will be presented.
