Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk makes a forecast that the decision about the political crisis will be put off for autumn. The head of VR said speaking at the conference “Media and legislature – regional dimension” held in Kyiv.

“It is more likely that there will be no compromise and the political battles will be put off on September,” said Yatsenyuk. According to him, it is the only possible scenario for today.

Yatsenyuk said it is one of the sharpest opposition in the history of the independent Ukraine, as UNIAN reports.

Moreover he added that the present situation in the Parliament is a result of the political reform of 2004. According to him, as the amendments to the Constitution were adopted in haste, now we have such situation. The VR head stressed that at the moment “nobody has the majority”, that is why we have a stalemate situation.

Speaking of the today’s events in the Verkhovna Rada, Yatsenyuk said there are votes for resignation but no votes for the budget. He added that the members of BYuT blocked the VR podium today, demanding to approve new budget, because they don’t want to leave UAH 30 billion of budget funds to the next government. At the same time Yatsenyuk said there won’t be new government because there is no new coalition.
