MP from the Party of Regions Anna Herman registered in the Verkhovna Rada a bill that will allow Ukrainians to pray in any place without prior notice, she told parliamentary journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This morning, I registered the bill that removes all the restrictions on prayers. If we vote for this bill, it will not be necessary to inform someone where you want to pray," she said.
Herman welcomed the presence of priests of the Greek Catholic Church in the Independence Square, where, according to her, mostly citizens from western Ukraine hold rallies.
She also recalled that the President already expressed his opinion about the letter of the Culture Ministry to the Primate of the Greek Catholic Church. "The President supported religious people, who had the right to pray wherever they want," Herman summed up.
