Treasury bills will be in demand among Ukrainian taxpayers, incomes and fees minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The adopted law on treasury bills is a step forward. To avoid excitement and distortion in future, I want to remind you that the decision to take or not to take bills, rests with the taxpayer, it will be a voluntary decision," he said.
The minister also reminded that automatic refund on bills will be made exclusively in cash. "We consulted with the taxpayers, they approved the idea. Therefore, I believe that the demand for treasury bills will be, and we, as the Ministry, will do everything for institute of bills to work in Ukraine," he stressed.
