The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has expressed his condolences to President of the United States Barack Obama over the loss of life due to an explosion at an industrial plant in the State of Texas, UKRINFORM reported.
“On behalf of the Ukrainian people and myself, I deliver my condolences to you and the families of those killed, and ask you to convey words of support and wishes for a speedy recovery to all those suffered,” the message reads.
As reported, on Wednesday evening a huge explosion rocked a fertilizer plant in the small Texas town of West, destroying dozens of buildings nearby the plant and causing many fires in the town.
Local police said the number of people who died in the blast, by now, is probably between 5 and 15. About 150 people were injured.
