
Public discussion of new assessment criteria for Ukrainian schools will end in May, chairman of the State Inspection of Educational Institutions of Ukraine Mykhailo Honcharenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Inspection was asked to develop criteria for evaluation of the secondary schools, vocational schools and higher education institutions. As of today, they are designed," Honcharenko said.
The main components of the criteria are: the material and technical base of educational institutions, human resources, information technologies, academic progress of students, research activities of teachers and students.
Honcharenko stressed that now the criteria undergo public discussions.
"Until May we plan to complete these discussions and approve their results," the head of the State Inspection concluded.
