Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych noted the importance of the further dynamic development of the Ukrainian-Chinese strategic partnership.
"Ukraine has given priority to the development of the strategic partnership with China," Yanukovych said during the meeting with member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, defense minister General Liang Guanglie, the President’s press service informs.
Yanukovych also marked substantial intensification of the Ukrainian-Chinese relations over the past two years.
The President expressed his belief that the both countries have laid a solid foundation and the necessary conditions for the further development of relations between the countries and filling promising Ukrainian-Chinese strategic partnership with practical content.
