Leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov explained why eight members of the Party of Regions voted to decriminalize the articles of the Criminal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure, on which former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former interior minister Yuri Lutsenko were convicted.
"My colleagues from the faction came before the vote to me and informed me that they have their own position on this issue, which they would like to implement. I let those people to vote freely," he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
Yefremov supposes that such position is reasoned by the fact that, "there are certain personal relationship".
