The Kyiv Palace for Children and Youth holds an exhibition of scientific and technical development of young inventors "The future of Ukraine," ForUm correspondent reports.

More than a hundred projects from 21 regions of Ukraine are presented at the exhibition.

Young inventors are pupils from 8-11 grades of the secondary schools and students of the non-school vocational and higher education establishments of I-II levels of accreditation, which are members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and are actively engaged in research activities.

At the beginning of the exhibition opening, the President of the National Center of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Stanislav Dovhy noted: "I think that all those, who visited the exhibition, can mention a very serious level and quality of developments. These inventions have been already approved, and they are used at the district and regional levels ... These children have instructors, who work at the laboratories of our leading educational institutions. It is very pleased that almost all of these children enroll in higher education institutions and continue their work as undergraduate and graduate students. This is a future scientific elite of Ukraine."

The exhibition presents the invention in seven areas, including electronics, instrument making, materials science, advanced technology, engineering, information and communication systems and technology, environmental science, technical creativity, invention, robotic technology and systems.
