Spain is to send observers to the parliamentary elections in Ukraine, to be held on October 28, 2012, the letter from the Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy Brey to President Viktor Yanukovych says, ForUm learned from the President’s press service.
"I understand the great importance of fair and transparent elections for the Ukrainian people and I'm glad you invited all the OSCE member states to join the election through the mission of election observers from the organization. So I am pleased to report that Spain will take part in this mission, and is coordinating now its actions with the OSCE agencies, responsible for organizing and carrying out this mission," the letter says.
As a reminder, on June 13, 2012, President of Ukraine the OSCE member states to send observers to the Ukraine’s parliamentary election.
