The Housing Fund of Ukraine is 90% ready for the heating season, regional development, construction and housing minister Anatoly Blyzniuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"As of today, the housing stock is 90%ready for the heating season. It is approximately 239.000 apartment buildings. Of those, about 140.000 are buildings with a centralized heat supply and 100.000 buildings with individual heating systems," the minister said.
According to him, the objects of social and cultural facilities are also almost ready for the heating season.
"We have 38.000 objects of social and cultural facilities. The schools, for example, are 98% ready, kindergartens - 92%," Blyzniuk informed.
