Ukrgasbank, one of the largest banks, predicts a steady course of hryvnia, chairman of the board Ukrgasbank Serhiy Mamedov said in an interview with newspaper Evening Kyiv.
"I have a negative attitude to most predictions about the collapse of the national currency. It is a real gamble. We allow a little stagger of hryvnia by several percentage points, as the fluctuations of the national currency against other currencies is a normal situation," he said.
In addition, the banker added that the course of hryvnia should meet the needs of the economy.
