The break was announced by first vice speaker Ihor Kaletnyk after the adoption of a number of bills without discussion, voting for them by show of hands.
Representatives of the Cabinet - First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, finance minister Yuri Kolobov, deputy finance minister Anatoly Miarkovsky, and first deputy economic development and trade minister Anatoly Maksiuta - left the session hall.
The opposition lawmakers retreated from the rostrum and presidium and now consult with the leaders of their factions.
Representatives of the majority are at their workplaces.
