The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine expects the Russian "First Channel" to comment on statements of the Russian TV-presenter Ivan Urgant, acting director of the Foreign Ministry information policy department Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing.
"We took into consideration the alleged apology, which he published in a social network. We call on the "First Channel" to give a proper evaluation of the incident," Perebyinis said.
He also informed that the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia brought this appeal to the notice of the channel’s management.
"So far I have not seen that the incident is officially commented or given a proper evaluation," Perebyinis said.
