"Today, all the three branches of the government are working in a key direction - improving the lives of people," Rybak told a press conference in Donetsk.
He added: "The potential of Ukraine is very large. We need to eliminate the obstacles, which prevented us from improving people's lives".
Rybak said that in 2013 and 2014 President Viktor Yanukovych "sets the task to provide full social support – increase in wage in the public sector, construction of housing, kindergartens". Therefore, the speaker believes that Parliament should, above all, pass the legislation related to the improvement of Ukrainians’ lives.
The speaker said he had submitted more than 500 such laws to the Verkhovna Rada’s committees.
"The committees have been already formed, they are considering the bills. Therefore, on February 4 (at the conciliatory board - Ed.) we will see their readiness. In my opinion, we need now to address the economic issues, employment issues, including jobs. It is necessary to consider first those laws, which will preserve jobs, help modernize production, and increase budget revenues. These are the main issues," the speaker said.
