Ukraine is an important partner for the U.S. in the field of scientific and technological cooperation, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John F. Tefft said during the opening of the third meeting of the Science and Technology Working Group, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We believe that cooperation on technology and information between the two countries should develop on a long-term basis," he said.
The Ambassador said that this cooperation is based on the capacities, which are in the U.S. and Ukraine. "For us, Ukraine is an obvious partner in scientific and technological cooperation, because your state has a very strong history and development of the community of scientists and experts. Ukraine continues educating scientists and engineers of the highest class," Tefft said.
