The representative of the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks (NABS) Arthur Zagorodnikov believes politics will give way to the economy after the parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
According to him, the National Bank of Ukraine conducts effective policy aimed at the development of the banking sector. "We need to support the actions of the regulator to improve the situation in the banking system," he said during a round table discussion "The role of the bank's reputation in the formation of trust in the banking system of Ukraine", ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the financier, today the NBU enjoys public trusts, in particular by carrying out its public policy.
He recalled there is a special TV channel, a lot of information is published on the regulator’s website. "The policy of openness, indicating the strengths and weaknesses of the banking system dominate. No events are withheld, the NBU is commenting on everything," Zagorodnikov summed up.
