As of today, the sum to service foreign loans in foreign currency does not exceed $ 26 billion, director of the debt and international financial policy department of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine Halyna Pakhachuk told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, she said that borrowings of Ukraine in foreign currency make up: 4% - euro, 47% - hryvnia, 34% - dollar.
The representative of the Finance Ministry added: "Why do we offer a tool in foreign currency in Ukraine? When foreigners come to us in Ukraine, they say, we can see your market, we describe you as a black market. We can see how much money you have beyond turnover. Why are you doing nothing?
"Ukraine has investment resource. It must bring it in legal circulation and if today we can offer sovereign treasury bonds in the domestic market for individuals, we do it," Pakhachuk said.
