The newly appointed chairman of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Ian Tombinsky assures that he will do everything possible to deepen the relations between the EU and Ukraine, he wrote in his congratulatory message on website of the EU delegation in Ukraine.
"I will do everything possible to deepen the relations between the EU and Ukraine," he wrote.
Tombinsky noted that the near future will be marked by the elections and legal and constitutional reforms as well. "The decision taken by Ukraine will strengthen confidence in the irreversibility of the democratic changes in the country," he added.
According to him, the European Union and its member states can provide the necessary knowledge and assistance to the Ukrainian higher education institutions, legal institutions and stakeholders working in the economic and trade environment to get closer to the European laws and standards.
As a reminder, Tombinsky started to hold an office of chairman of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine from September 1, 2012.
