The celebrations in Kyiv on the occasion of 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus will be attended by representatives of all Orthodox Churches, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Vladimir informed.

Celebrations will include prayer service at St. Vladimir's Hill near the monument to Prince Volodymyr, the Baptist of Russia and on the feast day of Prince Volodymyr - Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Square of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

"Liturgy in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on July 28, as well as a prayer at the St. Vladimir's Hill at the foot of the monument on July 27, became an integral part of the festivities in honor of St. Prince Vlodymyr. - Metropolitan Vladimir said. - This year, the anniversary celebration will be enhanced by the presence and participation in religious services of representatives of all Orthodox Churches. Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem, Georgian, Bulgarian and Serbian patriarchs, and primates of the Cypriot, Polish and American churches already confirmed their participation. We also look forward to the official delegations of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Romanian, Hellas, the Albanian Church and the Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia. All the Orthodox Churches will participate in the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus," the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church added.
