Energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky hopes that Ukraine will be able to receive not less than 30 billion cubic meters of gas via reversal routes from Europe.

"If you add up all reverse routes, which we are working on today, then we will be able to obtain more than 30 billion cubic meters of reverse gas per year. This will allow us to 100% diversify the supplies of natural gas," he told a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

He said that Ukraine is now in talks on organization of reverse gas supplies from Romania, so in future Ukraine will be able to receive reverse gas supplies from four EU countries: Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Romania.

"Thus, in general reverse supplies in 2013 could amount to about 10% of the total gas imports," Stavytsky said.
